We know many of our guests will be traveling from out of town or not as familiar with the San Antonio area. I have found some hotels that are not far from the reception location. Please also enjoy our favorite eats and shops that make The Bride feel at home when she visits.
Located just 2.5 miles from The Mcnay Art Museum. This Motel specializes in outdoor activities fit for every guest. Your stay with them includes an in ground heated pool, full bar and listening lounge and 5 pro pickleball courts.
Hotel Emma, a delectably unique 146-room hotel with seven top-floor suites, a handsome bar and club room, an excellent restaurant, a purveyor of fine foods, and public spaces reminiscent of fine old hotels in far-flung locales. Comfortable and unconventional, the hotel’s historical ambiance proclaims a new standard of South Texas luxury and geniality making it the premier luxury hotel in San Antonio.
An elegant Mediterranean design and a prime location on the San Antonio River Walk, Hotel Valencia Riverwalk is the city’s premier destination for business or pleasure. Unwind in graciously appointed rooms and enjoy a range of intuitive amenities.
By far the best burgers youll find in town. The bride and her family grew up frequently eating these same burgers. If you are not feeling a burger they have the best nachos and chalupas available. This place is a San Antonio staple and you will not be disappointed.
If you're feeling like having a signature San Antonio breakfast this is the spot for that. This shop has been open for decades and has always served up some incredible pastries/donuts as well as home made breakfast tacos. Be sure to get there in the morning hours to avoid the rush and to get fresh baked donuts.
Some very yummy Mexican plates as well as some exceptional pan Dulce. This restaurant is another San Antonio staple and its conveniently located right next to the Historic Market Square.
Of course the Riverwalk is an exceptional place for great food, drinks and shopping. I highly recommend going while the sun is setting as it is not too warm at that time and the city really comes to life.
